Program Description

This completely online, pre-credential education program sets you on the path for a Substance Abuse Counselor career and you can complete the program in just one year. Our Substance Abuse Counseling program is approved by the state of Wisconsin and fulfills all requirements (360 hours of comprehensive specialized education) necessary to sit for the licensing exam. $599 per course, per semester. Course Tuition: Online course fee is $975.00 per course. You will pay your tuition through your UW-Superior E-Hive account. The pricing for credit is $975.00 ($915.00 + $60 Technology Fee) for a 3-credit course and $670.00 ($610.00 + $60 Technology Fee) for a 2-credit course. The pricing for non-credit is $599 for a 3-credit course or $399 for a 2-credit course. For non-credit discounts you would work with the Center for Continuing Education.
